Minors

Ancient Greek & Roman Studies

Five upper division courses in the AGRS Department. Courses or seminars taught by AGRS professors in other departments may also be accepted, in consultation with an Undergraduate Faculty Advisor. One of the five courses may be taken outside of the department on campus or abroad with the Undergraduate Faculty Advisor's approval.

Greek Studies

Five upper division courses in Greek language and related courses. At least three courses must be in the Greek language; up to two courses may be in courses with substantial content relevant to Greek literature, philosophy, culture, or history.

Latin Studies

Five upper division courses in Latin language and related courses. At least three courses must be in the Latin language; up to two courses may be in courses with substantial content relevant to Roman literature, philosophy, culture, or history.

How to Declare a Minor in the Department of Ancient Greek & Roman Studies

Minors must be declared by the second to the last semester before completing your degree. to declare a minor, complete this Minor Application Form online.  If you have questions about the minors, you can contact our undergraduate advisor, Cassandra Dunn.
